Less than a week apart from each other, visionary George Lucas and voice actor Matt Lanter (Anakin in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”) both tied the knot with their girlfriends.
Lanter exchanged vows with Angela Stacy in Malibu, CA on June 14, 2013 with Stormtroopers greeting the groom (Lanter is a huge Star Wars fan) and the theme from the film series playing as the couple was introduced at their reception.
Lucas married his long-time partner Mellody Hobson on June 22, 2013 at Skywalker Ranch amid several prominent celebrities in film, music, and politics; Steven Spielberg, Arianna Huffington, Senator Bill Bradley, and Van Morrison (to name a few) were in attendance.
