In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. The ten words that changed my life and keeping with tradition I will be reading extracts from my all-time favourite book, The Hobbit.
To celebrate Tolkien Reading Day I thought I would share one of my paintings, aptly titled The Red Book of Westmarch.
“The Red Book of Westmarch: A Hobbits Tale”
Bilbo travels to Rivendell to continue work on the red book (tucked under his arm); his two Dwarven companions bid him farewell refusing to go further into Elven territory. Gandalf can be seen on the distant path eager to discover more about the true nature of the One Ring.
