Arrow

The midseason return was a great one. We learned how badly hurt Felicity is and what Oliver plans to do to Damien Darhk and H.I.V.E. John is able to find out some things from his brother that may help them in their fight against Darhk. Oliver learns that Damien has a family but certain things that happened has me believing his family isn’t everything it seems to be. Felicity’s condition is a lot worse than originally thought. It will be interesting to see how she and Oliver deal with her condition and what kind of impact it’ll have on their relationship. We may see the return of the Oliver from previous seasons and that may or may not be a good thing. The rest of the season is shaping up to be a really interesting one.

Supernatural

The return of Supernatural was an interesting one. We saw Dean show up to save Sam from Lucifer and learned that Amara survived. She used Castiel to send a message to the others.  While Dean is on his way to where Sam is Lucifer takes Sam on a trip down memory lane to try and convince to say yes so Lucifer can use him as a vessel again. Sam turns him down. Dean, Sam, and Castiel get into a fight with Lucifer while Rowena is trying to put Lucifer back in his cage. Unfortunately, Castiel does yes to Lucifer and now he’s walking free and the first thing he does is kill Rowena because she can open the cage and put him back in it. He doesn’t want that to happen. The boys don’t know that Lucifer is out of the cage and using Castiel as a vessel.
