Pottermore Announces New Content for 12 Days of Christmas

J.K. Rowling is giving Potter fans a new gift this Christmas. Well, twelve gifts, to be exact. The interactive site Pottermore announced that they will release a new “Christmas surprise” on each of the twelve days leading up to Christmas:

We’re feeling extra generous this year, so we’re bringing you early gifts this Christmas. Starting Friday, December 12, we’ll be releasing a festive surprise for you every day at 1pm GMT (8am EST).

With wonderful writing by J.K. Rowling in Moments from Half-Blood Prince, shiny gold Galleons and even a new potion or two, make sure you don’t miss out – just visit pottermore.com and answer our rhyming riddles to unwrap a #PottermoreChristmas surprise every day.

 

It’s important to note that these “surprises” are not, as some reports are saying, 12 new stories from J.K. Rowling, but 12 new bits of content which will include new writing in the form of “Moments” in the Half- Blood Prince.
