Telltale Games released today the launch trailer for their upcoming episodic game series Game of Thrones.
The trailer showcases some of the characters you will interact with over the course of the 6 episodes of the series, including Tyrion and Cersei Lannister, Ramsay Bolton and Margery Tyrell. Additionally, the members of the HBO cast for the TV show Game of Thrones will reprise these roles (Peter Dinklage, Lena Heady, Iwan Rheon and Natalie Dormer respectively). Other cast members will reprise their roles in later episodes of the game as well.
As shown in the trailer, you take the role of members of House Forrester, a northern house whose loyalty is owed to House Glover. Hinted at is strife between the Forresters and House Bolton, the house that has taken the Stark’s place as Wardens of the North, specifically the Whitehills who are Bannerman to the Boltons. You will take control over five characters from House Forrester, and with each move you make you will affect the outcome of the other characters within the story.
The premiere episode of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Games Series titled “Iron from Ice” will launch starting tomorrow, December 2 on PC/Mac and PS4, with the Xbox One/360 version coming December 3rd. Additionally, an iOS version will be available starting December 4th with Android devices soon to follow. Also, keep an eye out for Legendarium’s review of Episode 1 within the next day or so!
