From Time.com – Fans looking for the next installment of George Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series have already been given a few sample chapters of The Winds of Winter on his website. But Martin reveals a bit more about the stoyr. Daenerys and Tyrion will continue to play prominent roles in the story, no surprise to fans of the series. Says George R. R. Martin:

“I think we’re gonna start out with a big smash with the two enormous battles.”

The author promises that it’s coming finally and it will have more deaths, twists, turns and marriages: “We have more deaths, and we have more betrayals. We have more marriages,” Martin told Entertainment Weekly.

The Dothraki will also reappear in this book which will be very interesting considering how things were left between Daenerys and the Dothraki in book one. The exact date of the book’s release was not revealed, however,  The World of Ice and Fire: The Untold History of Westeros and the World of Game of Thrones is set for release  in October which should tide fans over.
