Okay, maybe not, but Matt Smith did have this to say about a possibility for the next incarnation of the last of the Time Lords:
“I feel like I already know how it ends. There’s a golden light, open a TARDIS, put my arms out… and then I turn into a woman!”
While I would love nothing more than for a woman to take on the mantle of the Doctor, it’s obvious that Smith was just joking…or was he? We’ll just have to wait until the next season starts up sometime next year (unless Moffat wants to pull a Sherlock and make fans wait until 2015).
