In an interview with Bloomberg Business Week, George Lucus “confirmed” that Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford will reprise their iconic roles in the next installment of the Star Wars franchise.
“We had already signed Mark and Carrie and Harrison – or we were pretty much in final stages of negotiation” Lucas said, “Maybe I’m not supposed to say that. I think hey want to announce that with some big whoop-de-do, but we were negotiating with them.”
Of course, all the actors have confirmed their own involvement including Fisher, who had just recently confirmed that she would return as Princess Leia, as Legendarium reported earlier this week.
This latest confirmation surely takes the speculation away and puts this news clearly in the “happening” category. Once again, Disney does it right!
Only one word comes to mind… WOW.
I just keep getting more excited for this movie…
