Can Astin survive “the fever”?

Sean Astin, (Lord of the Rings), is set to star in “Cabin Fever: Patient Zero”, a movie from director Kaare Andrews.

Shooting for the “reboot”, from the Eli Roth 2002 horror, will begin in August and will also star Brando Eaton, and Ben Hollingsworth.

Producer, Evan Astrowsky, is pleased to have Sean in the movie highlighting his talent and “fanboy fan-base” as a definite plus to work along side newcomers Eaton and Hollingsworth.

Cabin Fever:Patient Zero, takes place on a bachelor party cruise that lands ashore on a medical research island. There the deadly virus is released and now the cruise line passengers must find a way to survive the deadly effects of the virus.

Director, Kaare Andrews, is a Canadian comic writer know for his work with Marvel comics. His work includes The Incredible Hulk, Spider Man:Reign and the Ultimate X-Men. His other films include, Altitude starring Jessica Lowndes, and The Hunted with Gale Anne Hurd.

Look for a possible sequel to the film in the future to be called “Outbreak”.
